MyInternetCheck is a free online internet speed test that helps you check your real connection speed in seconds. Our tool measures your download speed, upload speed, ping and jitter right in your browser — no app to install, no account to create, and no cost, ever.
Our speed test is powered by M-Lab (Measurement Lab), an open platform run by researchers and public-interest organizations. That means your results come from a trusted, independent measurement network used by experts around the world — not from a test designed to make any provider look good.
We are an independent project and are not affiliated with any internet service provider. Provider names appear on this site only to help you find the right test for your connection.
MyInternetCheck is available in many languages because slow internet is a universal problem. Whether you are troubleshooting buffering videos, laggy games, or just want to confirm you are getting the speed you pay for, we are here to give you clear, honest numbers.
